I have a well used Grabber model 8567 in 28ga that has started popping the shell plate on the upstroke. The wad is slid down the inside of the guide so that it doesn't catch on the edges of the hull, resulting in a crushed wad or hull. Seasoned reloaders know that broken wad guide fingers shut down a reloading session.By the way my grabber is an older 761R. The 8567 has the newer taller base (primers don't stick under it and jam the lifter) and plastic dies. The 761 has the lower, older base, and has metal dies.
