Its supposed to be 15.5 inches from center of the pin hole to the ground.Check all the connections and throw some dialectic grease in there. Mine does it too, but when it goes into "sleep" mode and doesn't move the plow. After 20-30min of not being used it goes to sleep and blinks red. It works all the time regardless of position. Even scooped it trips the same. I dont like how boss trips or the fact it sometimes dosnt.Make sure there are no blockages in pumps or plugs. Plow will not raise. Voltage issues may impede function. Check to make sure wires are connected. Check hydraulic fluid. Check pump pressure. Plow will not lower. Make sure power is connected for proper function. Check wiring and voltage.And weld some 1/2" plate flush with the bottom of your center section. That or buy BOSS's steel snow catchers and weld them to your new edges. But, for sure, bad things will happen with that edge not bolted firmly to the plow. You won't cover the width when angled.
