They should give a 10.0 compression ratio with a .015 " head gasket. The 882's have 2.02 intakes and 1.60 exhausts. The chamber size is 76cc. They are pocket ported on the exhaust side and have a fresh 3 angle valve job.The LS engines with 799 heads are 5.3L and 4.8L. The sophisticated architecture, cathedral-shaped port, and smaller combustion chamber work amazingly on these truck engines.
