The brass terminal switch seems to work better--no problems since. Until switch problem was figured out we sometimes had luck pushing in on switch as you were pushing it up.Old thread but did my first one today. It is easier if you take out the pump and motor and do it all on the bench. The solenoid has most likely failed on the truck. Tap it a couple of times (medium to hard) with a screwdriver handle (anywhere but the terminals) and try it again. If the plow starts working again replace it.
