I had the same debate and found the cynergy had too much drop at comb for me and my eye was too low in relation to the rib. Citori cx fit better and I've been really happy with it. I shoot mainly trap with it but intend to start sporting clays soon. 1.Just like I'm sure the SV10 is cheaper for Beretta than the 68x guns. The Beretta DT-11 is definitely a cheaper gun than the DT-10 which is a cheapened version of the ASE90. Funny how the price didn't really go down, though. End of the day, though. I would pick the 725 ten times out of 10 over a Cynergy. Reply reply. The Citori will be in the Browning catalog for years and with limited sales the 101 may not. I haven't seen a Citori 725 in Micro Midas edition, but Browning has produced a Cynergy Micro Midas edition in the past. I own both Cynergy and Citori 725 o/u, and like both. The Cynergy has the lowest receiver height of any o/u I have ever seen, which comes in handy with crossing shots. The Citori model is a very long proven model, and considerably less in price. Don't get me wrong, the Cynergy is a good entry level combo, but a used gun of better quality and rebuild-ability with proven track record IMO, would be a better choice. For some reason I seem to want to compare the Remington 3200 to the Cynergy model of today.28 Gauge Standard Invector. Choose from a full selection of 28 gauge choke constrictions. Can't speak to most of your question, but I did purchase the 525 from CDNN in November for $1499 before the $150 Browning rebate. Gun came quickly, was NIB and had the grade 1 wood. I did go out and get a few Midas chokes for it, but I had to spend the rebate someplace.A nice Cynergy with a wood stock, maybe get it setup with an adjustable comb and lighten the trigger if you have to. It will be a little heavier so that it will be more comfortable for 100+ shots on the range, 5 stand and sporting clays course. It will be pretty to look at. And there is a lot of value that.Re: Browning cynergy vs. citori. The Citori is the grandchild of Browning's Superposed shotgun. The Citori has a older "standard" profile receiver. It is lighter and feels sleeker than the Citori. It carries better. The safety has never been a problem for me. If I wanted a Clays or a Skeet gun, I would go with the Citori. It is heavier and bulkier and that is an advantage in a target gun.Citori. Silver Pigeon. 828U. Silver Reserve. Condor. Over Under shotguns are considered to be out of style nowadays. This 725 sporting comes with …Cynergy's somewhat non-traditional receiver design is not my cup of tea so, I can only comment on Beretta 686 and Browning CX - shot both fairly extensively. As others have mentioned, these guns have very different fit and shooting dynamics: Beretta is lighter and faster to swing, Browning is heavier, often more nose heavy, and slower to swing.A nice Cynergy with a wood stock, maybe get it setup with an adjustable comb and lighten the trigger if you have to. That is a gun that will be in your family for generations and a few hundred more you won't even notice in 5 years. Both guns had a material differetn feel at the forearm. The Cynergy much wider and fatter, the Citori narrower ( I liked this better). Both guns pulled up nicely and seemed strangely familiar looking down the barrel. Finally got to see how the Cynergy CX and the 686 fit and I honestly like them both. Does anyone have a preference between a Cynergy CX and a Citori CX? I'm currently leaning towards the Cynergy CX mainly due to the price.
