So your looking at a 2bbl carb with a venturi and throttle plates the same as a 1050 cfm 4bbl.Posted February 12, 2013. if you take the wire off the sender and ground it to the tank, the gauge should go to full if the gauge is ok. you can check the sending unit by hooking a continuity tester to the post on the sender, bend a wire to hook the float and move it up and down. the ohms should change as the float moves.One of the most unusual transmission problems with the Lexus GX 460 is a shifter squeak.
