I can get by on carpentry with disassembling furniture and putting the planks in the trunk of my vehicle. I normally also wait until I've got about 10 rope so I can make log stacks. The condition isn’t great but they’re good for either grinding up axe exp or maintenance exp. It’ll also get you into the habit of trying the foraging skill which can be extremely valuable.
