If you're putting a growing zone in their pen just make it dandelions, which grow fast. Kibble is better imo. more nutrient efficient, less overeating, and lasts forever. Haygrass is ok, just not as good.The competitive benefit of dandelions over haygrass is that haygrass requires harvesting while with dandelions animals are essentially managing their own harvesting by eating the whole plant.
