Also they have two hits per button press with L1 and R2, aswell as L2 being a multi-hit attack that can be combod with an R2.60 faith is what you want for buffing. Use Yorshka's chime, you get it from killing Captain Yorshka at Anor Londo. That chime at 60 faith has the highest spell power in the game. Cast lightning blade with it for maximum damage output. Buffs work best on faster weapons.
